I. Things that international tourists need to do and understand before visiting Cambodia
- Fully vaccinated international tourists
1. Must be accompanied by COVID-19 vaccination card or certificate certifying their full COVID-19 vaccination
2. A negative COVID-19 within 72 hours prior arriving to Cambodia (PCR test), recognized by the health authority of their country
3. In case of needing a visa for travelling to Cambodia, international tourists must apply for a valid visa at the Cambodian Embassy/ the Cambodian Consulate in their respective country or electronically via E-Visa or via the website: www.evisa.gov.kh
- For non-vaccinated or not fully COVID-19 vaccinated international tourists must be satisfied the conditions from the second to the fourth and the following conditions must be added:
• International tourists must require to undertake the quarantine as prescribed by the Royal Government of Cambodia, and
• Must comply with additional instructions upon arrival in Cambodia as prescribed by the Royal Government of Cambodia

Private boat from Siem Reap to Battambang by Traditional Wooden Boats from Siem Reap to Battambang is available from August to February. The trip takes between six or eight hours, depending on the season and how high the water level is, and which direction you are going; the trip from Siem Reap to Battambang is shorter than the other way around. The views are gorgeous, passing by many small fishing villages, allowing visitors to get a sense of life on Cambodia’s riverside. If you’re considering taking the boat, know that is possible from August until February, it is the best time to take it due to higher water levels. Note: Upon arrival in Cambodia, travelers must take a Covid-19 Rapid Test at the entrance to the country and wait for the test result for 15 to 20 minutes. After receiving a negative Covid-19 test result, the person can travel freely throughout Cambodia!
